23 Dez 11 Naturhistorisches Museum Wien – Der neue Dinosauriersaal – The New Dinosaur Hall

Ab 5. Oktober 2011 wird im Wiener Naturhistorischen Museum eine seiner Hauptattraktionen wiedereröffnet: der völlig neugestaltete Dinosauriersaal. Ein lebensgroßes, bewegliches Modell eines Allosaurus ist nur eines der vielen neuen Highlights. Modernste Videoanimationen (produziert von 7reasons, © NHM) und interaktive Stationen vermitteln das Leben vor mehr als 65 Millionen Jahren so eindrucksvoll wie noch nie. Neben riesigen Skeletten von Diplodocus, Allosaurus und Iguanodon, wird auch jener Asteroideneinschlag visualisiert, der letztlich zum abrupten Ende der Dinosaurier führte. From October 5th, 20011, one of the main attractions of Vienna’s Natural History Museum re-opens: the newly designed and modernized dinosaur hall. A life-sized animated model of an Allosaurus is just one of many highlights. Modern computer animations (produced by 7reasons,© NHM) and interactive displays give an impressive demonstration of life on Earth over 65 million years ago.
